About Spencer
To understand Spencer Ford’s passion for helping people into secure and worry free retirements, you need to understand his grandfather. It’s this story that inspired Spencer to help others find a better way of life after work.
Spencer’s grandfather worked for Weirton Steel in Hollidays Cove, West Virginia. The oldest of eight children in a poor family, he went to work for Weirton Steel when he was only sixteen years old. He worked there until the day he was forced to retire due to health complications brought on by the hard labor.
Unfortunately, retirement was not any easier. When the steel industry collapsed in the 1980’s his grandfather’s pension was cut by 40%. His grandparents did what they could until his grandfather passed, making it impossible for his grandmother to live on her own.
As COO of Conservative Financial Solutions and a dedicated Wealth Advisor, Spencer helps people avoid his grandparents’ fate by showing them how to make meticulous retirement plans that account for market fluctuations and rising healthcare costs.
With over $250M under advisement, Spencer and Conservative Financial Solutions have helped hundreds of working class Americans secure the retirement of their dreams. Spencer is also a board member for the Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce with a mission to help make the community a better place for businesses and their employees.
When Spencer isn’t busy helping people plan for a successful retirement, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Brittany and their German Shepherd, Søren. He also enjoys competing at powerlifting meets and playing drums for his church’s worship team.
